I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Bertrand Russell Research Centre at McMaster University, where I work with Alex Klein.

My research focuses on various philosophical issues that arise in relation to the scientific study of spatial and geometric cognition.

My areas of specialization are philosophy of mind and cognitive science. But I am also deeply interested in philosophy of biology, philosophy of mathematics,
general philosophy of science, and philosophy of language.

From 2022 to 2025, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Philosophy of the Australian National University (ANU). There, I was supervised by Colin Klein and I worked on the Major Transitions in the Evolution of Cognition project. Prior to this, I was a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of British Columbia (UBC) under the supervision of Eric Margolis.

I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Sheffield. My thesis was entitled Where Am I? The Cognitive Architecture of Spatial Reorientation. I was supervised by Stephen Laurence and Luca Barlassina.
